About Davies & Sons
A local independent garage based in Pencader. Friendly service, reliable repairs and straightforward communication for our surrounding communities.
The mechanic behind
Davies & Sons.
He has spent more than 16 years in the car industry, and in that time he has worked on just about everything: general repairs and diagnostics, engine rebuilds, full restorations and building rally cars. The rally scene has been part of his life since he was young, so taking a car apart and putting it back together properly is familiar territory.
A local Welsh lad, Dan takes an old-school approach to finding and fixing faults: listen to what the vehicle is actually doing, check it properly, and work out the real cause before anything is replaced. He often sees cars after another garage hasn’t been able to track the problem down, and fault finding is the part of the job he enjoys most.
Away from day-to-day workshop work, Minis and classic Fords get the most attention. Escorts and Sierras are his favourites, and he has restored and rebuilt a few of them over the years.
